Answers to Common Photography Questions
After booking, you will receive a session guide with tips tailored to your session type. This includes outfit inspiration, location tips, and what to expect so you can feel confident and relaxed coming in.
Neutral tones, soft textures, and coordinated (not matching) outfits photograph beautifully. Think creams, tans, soft pastels, muted earth tones, and minimal patterns. Avoid neon colors, large logos, and busy graphics. When in doubt, I’m always happy to help you choose.
I provide select props depending on the session type. Clients are responsible for outfits unless otherwise stated. If your session includes styling support or wardrobe access, it will be clearly outlined when booking. Newborns are an exception as I do have options available when in-studio.
Locations are chosen collaboratively based on the session type, season, and your vision. I also have a location guide available upon request for more ideas. Outdoor sessions are weather-dependent; studio or indoor options may be available upon request.
For outdoor sessions, weather is monitored closely. If conditions are unsafe or unflattering, we’ll reschedule at no additional cost. Overcast skies are usually just fine and often beautiful.
Life happens. One complimentary reschedule is allowed with at least 48 hours’ notice. Additional reschedules may require a rescheduling fee. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows will forfeit the retainer.
Please let me know as soon as possible if illness arises, especially for newborn or family sessions. We’ll work together to find a new date that keeps everyone safe.

Sneak peeks are delivered within 7 days from the session, but the full gallery varies from 4-8 weeks. Turnaround times may vary slightly during peak seasons or for weddings, which will be outlined in contract.
Your edited images will be delivered via a private online gallery where you can view, download, and order prints.

Image counts vary by session type and are based on quality over quantity. Each delivered image is fully edited and carefully curated to tell your story beautifully.

For full sessions, you’ll receive the entire edited gallery, no picking required.

For mini or shorter sessions, a set number of images is included, and you’ll always have the option to upgrade and purchase more or the full gallery if you’d like.

Yes. Professional print products, albums, and keepsakes are available directly through your gallery. These are high-quality items designed to last for generations.
Absolutely. You’re welcome to share your images for personal use. Please do not crop, alter, or apply filters to the images. Tagging and credit are always appreciated.

No. RAW files and unedited images are not provided. Editing is a major part of my artistic process and reflects the quality and style of my work.
